what's a girl to do at home on sunday whilst trying to avoid the crazed christmas shoppers - 2 days before christmas day?

i present, my gloomy bear tiramisu cake. must admit, this baking project has taken a turn into crazy.

Banana Pancake

the problem with wanting to have a food photo blog is that i get so caught up with enjoying the food that i forget to take any pictures. my one and only shot of banana pancake. thailand, khao san road.

khao san road, i don't think that many people talk about the smell in the air on khao san road especially at night when food carts line the side of the street. everything from drink carts, fresh fruit carts, phad thai carts, som tum carts, kra pow carts, banana pancake carts (yum!) - i believe it's only been 1 day and already i feel the need to have some thai pork/beef glass noodle soup.

i miss you thailand. i miss banana pancake, phad thai, shrimp fried rice & glass noodle soup...
